Shameless Round Table: Mother Debbie?

The Gallaghers are finally back, and they gave our panelists a lot to discuss.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 1, Debbie decided she was keeping her baby, but she lied to Fiona. Fiona had her hands full with Carl's return and a new job opportunity.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman, WhitneyEvans and PaulDailly are joined by super fan, Amy Perrin. Join in as they discuss Fiona's job offer, the state of Mickey and Ian's relationship and all things Frank.

Shamless Round Table 660px

What do you make of Frank's love for Bianca?

Stacy: His grieving process is definitely creepy, but it's Frank, he's always creepy. It did seem like he really cared about Bianca though, which is new for him. Usually he's playing some angle.

Whitney: It's extremely over the top, but Frank takes everything too far, so it's not overly surprising he's acting this way. I agree with Stacy though, Bianca did have a profound impact on him and he did seem to really care for her.

Amy: Frank has always been cuckoo, but this was a whole new kind of crazy, at least in my opinion. His love for Bianca seems very obsessive. His dry humping her bra and panties in the graveyard was gross. I hope that his grieving ends soon, as I would like to see him get back to his regular shenanigans.

Paul: It was crazy. Frank isn't the sharpest tool in the toolbox, but this storyline is such a departure for him that I don't quite know what to think of it.

Will Debbie keep the baby?

Stacy: I don't see her actually having a baby. I would not be surprised if she ends up having a miscarriage.

Whitney: I'm torn on this, but I think right now I'm leaning towards she will. Even with Derek skipping town, I think she sees this baby as a blessing, not a burden, and she'll want to keep it.

Amy: Yes, I think she will. She is in love with Derek, or at least she thinks she is, and that is why she got pregnant in the first place. Even though Derek left town, this baby is a part of him and I think she just wants to have someone to really love.

Paul: I'd like her to. She's had enough experience with running the daycare and all.

Was Fiona right to accept the job as Assistant Manager?

Stacy: Yes, it is a good opportunity for her, and it could help lead to better jobs later. She's supporting a family, it's not just about her, so she needs to do what's best for them and not worry about what the other employees are going to think.

Whitney: She couldn't turn it down, but I'm not sure Sean should have offered it to her in the first place. If you work in the kind of environment where it's okay to openly date your boss, that's one thing, but I think you have to draw the line at promotions. That's a surefire way to cause tension amongst your staff.

Amy: Yes, I do. I think she is great at her job, and even though she is sleeping with Sean, Fiona is smart, and the customers love her. This could be a good opportunity for her.

Paul: I'm in the minority here. I don't think she should have taken it. There are some politics in a workplace, and Fiona has just gone and created an even worse atmosphere in Patsy's. She has worked there a few months, and there should have been a formal application for the job.

How will Lip's cougar storyline play out, now that he's attacked her son?

Stacy: I think she's going to realize that his feelings are stronger than her own and end the relationship. That's what should happen anyway.

Whitney: I forgot what Lip is like when he's super into someone (or thinks he is). Everyone remember crazy Karen? Anyway, this storyline is kind of blah for me, but the previews lead me to believe it's headed towards an eventual clash with the husband.

Amy: Lip is definitely more interested in his cougar professor than she is in him, almost to the point of being obsessed. Now that he has beaten up her son, I have a feeling their relationship will come to and end.

Paul: It's going to turn sour. The cougar will know now that he is more serious about her than she'd like.

How do you feel about the direction Mickey/Ian's storyline went?

Stacy: I like these two, but I wouldn't expect Ian to wait eight years for Mickey to get out. It doesn't mean they can't stay friends though.

Whitney: Mickey is my favorite character by far, so knowing he won't be around this season makes me very, very upset. Hopefully, we will get to check in with him at least once more, maybe during the finale.

Amy: I don't like it. Mickey should not be in jail, even though I understand why he is. It was sad that the only way Ian would visit Mickey was because Svetlana paid him. However, once there and talking with Mickey, he did seem sincere about waiting for him. I hope that Mickey doesn't have to spend the entire season stuck in there.

Paul: It sucks that they are both apart, but Mickey has broken the law several times, so for him to continue to evade justice, it wouldn't be very realistic. Ian is battling a lot of demons right now, but I'm pretty glad that he's waiting for Mickey.

Grade the Season 6 Premiere!

Stacy: I'll give it a B. It was funny, but there wasn't enough of my favorite character Kevin in the premiere. I'm also not loving where Carl's story is going. I think Fiona taking the position could lead to some funny stuff and I'm curious to see where Lip's situation goes.

Whitney: B-. There were definitely some funny parts, and I'm really interested in Debbie's storyline and also seeing what's next for Ian, but I could do without Carl's new attitude and Lip's cougar affair.

Amy: I would give it a solid B. It is great having Shameless back, but there are some things that they could improve upon as the season progresses. I would like to see Mickey get out of jail, and Frank get over his grieving of Bianca. Does anyone else miss Sheila?

Paul: B+. It's different, but it's still very good. I miss Sheila dearly. Where is she?!

Shameless Season 6 Episode 2 Review: #AbortionRules

$

Where there's a Gallagher, there's drama.

That sentiment echoed on through Shameless Season 6 Episode 2 which had Fiona realizing she was in too deep with Sean. If there's anything this chick should have learned by now, it's that boning your boss doesn't get you anywhere.

I completely understand why she's standing by her man, but at the same time, she's putting herself on the firing line. She's been through so much, and it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

Props to Sean for being honest. That's not a trait any of Fiona's previous partners have held, so there's that. What Fiona needs to do is think about what affect a full on relapse for Sean would mean for her and their potential kid.

There's also the fact that she has yet to tell him about it. I don't understand her thought process, but Sean would be ecstatic to learn this news. You all saw how cut up he was when his ex-wife took the kid out of town.

The pregnancy could be the thing that forces Sean to get the help he needs and if he does, then that shows just how committed he is to staying clean. There's obviously a whole legal barrier with it though. He could be sent back to jail and I don't think that's something he'd be willing to do.

Then again, it might be something he's willing to do in the hopes of having a smooth relationship with Fiona. Hopefully, they both manage to make it work, but Debbie will probably love that Fiona is pregnant.

Speaking of Debbie, she's very mature for her age, but I do wholeheartedly agree with what Fiona said to her about raising the kid. In Fiona's mind, she's thinking Debbie will fob the kid off and have her bring him up. That's pretty much what's happened to her all her life with Frank and Monica, so I see where she's coming from.

I wouldn't see Debbie doing that in a million years, but it seems to be the Gallagher way, right? I felt horrible for Debbie when she learned that Derek left town of his own accord. That was a shock at first, but when you think about it, it's not all that surprising.

Carl: Knives are in the drawer if you want to do a home abortion.
Fiona: Carl!

  • Permalink:
  • Added:

Debbie essentially wanted to trap him so that she could worm her way into his family. All she wants is a loving family, but she seems to forget pretty easily that Fiona has loved and cared for her practically all her life.

There's no denying that Fiona has done some questionable things, but she does care for her family. Well, everyone except her parents and no one can take that away from her. At one point, she was working six jobs to see them through life. Where was her thanks for that? She didn't need to step up to the challenge of raising her siblings, but she did. She'll make a great mother to her own kid.

Lip's cougar storyline is taking a very dark turn. I really hope he isn't fooled into killing the husband. I'm beginning to think Helene loves reeling in these young guys to do her dirty work and then moves swiftly on to the next one. It will be heartbreaking if he throws his future away for her.

"#AbortionRules" was another solid effort from this Showtime drama. Even after six years on the air, it's continuing to be one of the most compelling shows on the air and I can't wait to see what's next for these crazy characters.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • The texts Fiona was sending Debbie were hilarious. I bet they were both learning some stuff from them. It's amazing what you can find from a quick Google search.
  • Will Jonas know that it was Kevin who tampered with his bike, or will he blame the two Lisas? I can't wait to find out how it all goes down!
  • Is Ian really taking his meds, or is he just spiraling back out of control? He needs to try get more help. He's now out of a job, and it will just look unprofessional if he gets the job back in an instant.
  • Will Frank ever calm down? He's always got a scheme somewhere up his sleeve, and this week, it led to him killing a woman with stage four cancer. I get he's grieving for Bianca, but the dude really needs to learn to read signals. That poor doctor!
  • Is anyone else not digging the changes at The Alibi Room? These hipsters are changing the pub and I'm certain that it's going to get shut down in the next few weeks.

This show will seriously never have an episode with everyone calm for the entirety of it.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 3, things are icy with Fiona and Sean. If there's anything that Fiona should know right about now, it's that dating your boss never works out. She needs to ditch the relationship or she's going to fall back into the reckless person she was on Shameless Season 4

She's come a long way since then, but no one will like her if she goes back to the way she was. She needs to be the Fiona we all love. It looks like she'll finally make it up with Debbie after all the debating about the baby.

The bigger question is: Will Fiona keep her own baby? Heck, will she even tell Sean about it?

Meanwhile, Frank enlists Debbie to help him with his latest big scheme, but will it end badly for them? There's a good chance. Frank's plans rarely pan out the way he wants them to.

Elsewhere, Ian continues to improve and heads out to meet Lip, but we're sitting here wondering what mischief these two siblings will be getting up to.

Either way, we'll have to wait until the episode airs to find out exactly what's going on.

17 Characters Who Could Use A Nice Dose Of Reality

TV characters are notorious for changing their mood.

Some of them for the better, some of them for the worse.

Then there's the characters who just make the stupidest decisions that have us questioning why they did it for the next few episodes.

Some of this makes for good TV, but then there's some that just infuriates us as viewers and makes us not want to watch the show.

We've compiled a list of characters who could use a nice dose of reality.

1. Alison - Pretty Little Liars

Alison pretty little liars
Alison has always had a hold over the liars, but she went a little too far when she forced them back to town to get her sister out of hospital. The sister in question is the one who was terrorizing her friends for over six seasons. No matter how many years she spends in hospital, it would never be ok for Ali to ask for their help.

2. John - American Horror Story: Hotel

John american horror story hotel
This dude takes the title for one of the worst written characters of American Horror Story ever. Why should someone who murdered people get to spend a night with their family once a year? At least he didn't die in the hotel, but seriously why does he think he's entitled to it?

3. Annalise - How To Get Away With Murder

Annalise how to get away with murder
This woman has everyone doing her dirty work. She needs to step up and stop getting into messy situations with her clients. She also needs to quit using the other lead characters' pasts against them. Poor Bonnie.

4. Malcolm - Arrow

Malcolm arrow
It sucks that the writers behind Arrow keep trying to redeem this dude. He's beyond redeemable and needs to stick to either being good, or evil. There is no middle ground here. He needs an intervention or something.

5. Erica - Heroes: Reborn

Erica heroes reborn
Let's kill all evo's and make our own world that I pick who gets access to it. Said no one. Ever. She's completely crazy and hopefully she gets a reality check in the finale.

6. Diana - Younger

Diana younger
Diana seems to think that Charles is into her, but to be quite honest, he's far from it. She takes her frustration out on Liza constantly and it's not fair. Liza needs to step up and tell her to quit being a bitch.

Shameless Round Table: Will Fiona Keep Her Baby?

Will the Gallaghers ever get a moment of quiet in their lives?

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 2, Debbie continued to rebel against Fiona about the baby, but Fiona got some news of her own when she found Sean was using drugs again, and the shocks kept coming for her when she learned that she is pregnant.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman and Whitney Evans are joined by super fan, Amy Perrin. Join in as they discuss Fiona's pregnancy, Sean's addiction and Lip's cougar storyline.

Shamless Round Table 660px

Fiona is also pregnant. React!

Stacy: It was a surprise, and it will be interesting to see how that will play out. I'm curious to see Debbie's reaction to the news.

Amy: That definitely came as quite a surprise. After all her texts to Debbie about getting an abortion, I wonder if she will decide to do that her own self. I am very interested to see how this is going to play out.

Whitney: I think I was more surprised it took this long for Fiona to get pregnant! I'm really curious to see what she decides to do. She's been a mother practically her whole life, but she's gotten to live her life more that the kids have grown up and she seems to be enjoying it.

Would Lip really kill Helene's husband?

Stacy: Lip has done some questionable and immoral things in his life, but nothing close to killing someone. I can't see him being willing to risk his future for this woman. He's too smart for that.

Amy: Even though he is smitten with Helene I seriously doubt that he will murder Helene's husband. If Lip was smart he would break up with her, and just stick to college girls. Helene is bad news.

Whitney: Lip is many things, but he's not a murderer. I'm honestly over Helene and I hope her time on the show comes to end sooner than later.

Will Sean be able to stay clean?

Stacy: I think so. He knows he has a problem and owns up to it. He also goes to meetings and seeks out help. Relapse is a part of recovery. He's not perfect, but he's working really hard to stay clean, and I think he will succeed. The important thing is he's not lying about it or trying to hide it.

Amy: When it comes to addiction it is so hard to say. I know that Sean wants to, but addiction is a disease, and he will be fighting the urge to stay clean every day for the rest of his life. It is a good sign that he was honest with Fiona and told her about relapsing, as well as going to a bunch of meetings.

Whitney: I hope so, but you just never know. Like Amy said, addiction is a disease that you have to fight every single day, so time will tell if he's up for the fight.

Will Debbie change her mind after learning that Derek was the one who wanted out of town?

Stacy: I think that's a big part of it, but also hearing from the other girls trying to go to school with babies, as well as leaving the flour on the bus are all huge wake up calls for her. She's going to realize she does not want to be a teenage mother as much as she thought she did.

Amy: Based on the ending of this episode it sure doesn't look like it. She seems very determined to have this baby, and also have a family with Derek. If she sees Derek and he outright rejects her and the baby then I think that might change her mind, but I honestly don't think anything else will.

Whitney: I think she's pretty set on keeping the baby, but the Derek bombshell could really crush her spirits.

How long before Carl is back in juvie?

Stacy: I think he'll be caught before the end of the season. Whether he ends up back in juvie or manages a way out of it, I don't know. He really needs to figure his life out or he's just going to be in and out of jail for the rest of it.

Amy: Probably not too long, and I agree with Stacy that he will most likely be caught before the end of the season. Carl is smart, and it's a shame that he cannot channel it in a constructive way.

Whitney: Any day now. His storyline is just not that compelling to me, sorry. Carl has never been my favorite, but he's downright awful this season.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 3 Review: Ghost Your Baby

$

0

Is it just me or did Fiona just have the worst week ever?

Shameless Season 6 Episode 3 was all about Fiona and her potential baby, but it's super clear that she's struggling to come to a decision whether to keep the kid or not.

Say what you want about Fiona, but she's tried her best with her siblings. Sure, there was a time when she let things get a little too out of hand, but she managed to pull herself back up. She treated Gus like crap and he's probably been waiting on her to pop back into his life to sing that ludicrous song.

However, it does take two to tango, and he did sweep her up from the dumpster after his friend tried to cheat on his girlfriend with her. She's by no means perfect, but the chick deserves a break.

It was a little bit of a shock that she confided in Sean about the whole thing, and his actions proved why she should be with him and not Gus. Upon hearing that a there's a chance the kid might not be his, he could have had a massive tantrum, but he continued to be the calm guy we know him to be.

It's your hormones. You leak from your face until the babies come and then you leak from your titties.

Veronica

He does keep Fiona grounded and has helped her through several tough times. The same can be said for her, but then again, he'd have no right to be pissed if the kid doesn't turn out to be his. He was pining for Fiona, and as soon as he knew she was choosing him, he wanted her.

Frank being thrown into the situation didn't help in the slightest. It's his motto that the Gallaghers don't abort children, but considering the way he was telling Debbie how to milk the system, it's clear his concern for babies is down to just how much the state will pay for them.

That's Frank for you. Historically, he's never really done anything off his own back. He relies on others, and when he doesn't get his own way, he acts as if the world has been bad to him. He must think he's won the lottery at the possibility of two children entering the family.

You go anywhere near Sean, I will set you on fucking fire.

Fiona

All he thinks about is money, and that's why he rented out the backyard to people from the neighborhood who have been made homeless by the way the town is rising in popularity among richer folk.

His plan doesn't appear to be working all that well since the Gallagher home has been served an eviction notice. Did this come straight from their crazy cousin, or did he sell the house from under them?

Knowing the way that dude acts, it's probably the latter. The whole thing came as a shock, but it sort of feels like a retread of a previous storyline. It's not always pleasant to go back over storylines, so let's hope this one ends pretty quickly. There's no shortage of people to give him hell.

Just because Emmy Rossum was given the bulk of the material didn't mean that everyone else was left out. Ian needed a break from Fiona and headed out to stay with Lip. I don't blame Lip for telling him he couldn't stay with him. It would be a totally different story if Lip had an apartment, but he has one room.

There's no way the two of them wouldn't get in one another's way. Ian was a bit rude about the whole thing, but what Lip has to remember is that his brother is going through a difficult time. He really thinks that his Bipolar diagnosis means he can't have a life.

His outlook on life will probably change a lot next week considering he saved a life. Might that have been the nudge he needed to get him out of his funk? I sure hope so.

"Ghost Your Baby" was another solid episode of this Showtime drama. The show never stops to catch a breath and life for these characters will never be smooth.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • The teachers in the school pulling out the guns in the canteen was downright hilarious. That was the last thing I expected to happen.
  • Kev won't be able to keep what he did from Yanis for much longer. He's already cracking because he knows it was wrong, but what will Veronica's reaction be when he does?
  • Can Gus just, like, never show back up again?
  • Did anyone else feel bad for Debbie? She's too mature for her age.
  • Carl's pursuit of the chick from school is BORING.
  • Frank's comment in the surgery about Fiona having both a boyfriend and a husband was so funny.

What did you think of the episode? What will happen with the two pregnancies? What's Ian's next move? Chat with me in the comments while we're waiting for Shameless Season 6 Episode 4, which airs January 31.

Will Gus' song be a hit?

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 3, Fiona got a song sung to her that wasn't all that nice, while Debbie tried to get support from her family, but it didn't quite pan out.

React to Gus' song about Fiona.

Stacy: It was funny, and Fiona's reaction was great. I also loved that Sean kept asking her to sing a few lyrics for him.

Amy: At first I was surprised when he said that he wrote her a song, so I wasn't expecting it to be demeaning. However, it was pretty funny and Fiona deserved it.

Whitney: Fiona totally deserved that song and it was pretty funny. I give her props for sitting through the whole thing! After the first 'F you' I would have thrown the ring and walked out.

How will Ian's storyline play out?

Stacy: I really want Ian to succeed. Being Bipolar doesn't mean he can't have a life, and he worked so hard to be in the Army before his symptoms ruined it for him. I am hoping that saving that woman will lead to him working to become a firefighter. He'd be great at it and he's already in excellent physical shape.

Amy: Ian has been floundering thus far this season, but now that he has saved that woman from the burning car I predict a drastic change in his storyline. I think this was exactly what he needed to boost his self-esteem, and I could even picture him wanting to be a fireman.

Whitney: I hope Ian does make some life changes after his heroics. I like the idea of him being a firefighter because it totally fits who he is.

Will Kevin come clean to Yanis?

Stacy: I think V is going to stay attached to his hip and make sure he doesn't for now, but it might come out eventually. Kev is my favorite character and I was cracking up every time he told someone and made a comment about how it felt good to say it. I just don't understand why he didn't just cut both cables. If there were only two, and one of them would have kept the bike from running, he might as well just cut them both and then they wouldn't be in this situation.

Amy: I have no doubt that he will, it's just a matter of time. His conscience is eating away at him, and he came close several times in this episode.

Whitney: Kevin will come clean eventually, but only if he can get away from V for a few minutes to do it!

Talk a bit about the staff at the school buying the guns.

Stacy: That whole thing was silly and I didn't really buy it. I'm also just not interested in Carl's story line at all.

Amy: That was quite the shocker, although it should not have been given how crazy people are about owning guns nowadays. I was sure that Carl was going to get in serious trouble, so all of it was rather humorous. Sad, but humorous.

Whitney: That was ridiculous, but pretty funny. Carl's storyline is a major yawn so far, but I have to admit I laughed when the principal tried to help him with the girl and when they all pulled their guns out in the cafeteria.

What scene did you find the funniest?

Stacy: Fiona's "interbortion." I especially laughed when Kev said "damn, that's cold" and V was like, "you are not watching a tennis match on TV, people can hear you."

Amy: I thought it was really funny when all the staff whipped out their guns in the cafeteria, and were pointing them at one another. Even Carl seemed amused by it all.

Whitney: I loved V's line to Fiona about her pregnancy not being funny "ha ha" but funny "slutty". It's something only your best friend can get away with saying to you and it was a great moment between the two.

17 Miserable Characters (We Wouldn't Want Any Other Way)

$

These characters are just miserable. They even talk about it.

And you know what we have to say about it?

Don't go changin'!

That's right. We kinda love watching these miserable sots. Not only does their gloom make us feel better about our own lives, it's what makes them tick.

Whether they're good detectives, good doctors, good lovers or just good jackasses, their wretched lives only make them that much better.

1. Meredith - Grey's Anatomy

Meredith greys anatomy
Maybe it's just working where does that makes her so miserable, because it is one of the incurable diseases amongst the staff workers at Grey Sloan, but all the drinking and dancing in the world can't seem to knock the misery out of Meredith's life. Her happiness is infrequent despite having good friends and adorable kids.

2. Harry - The Flash

Harry the flash
So far, Harry isn't downright Evil, so perhaps miserable is a win. And his daughter, Jesse, IS being held in a cage by evil dude, Zoom, and Harry's inability to stop him is forcing his hand to work with him. But still, until we see a genuine smile on this guy's face, there's nothing to say he won't always be hopeful more misery is on the way.

3. Ray - Ray Donovan

Ray ray donovan
Ray could have it all. Alright, his wife, kids and family are all pains in the asses. We'd be miserable if they were our lot in life, too. But he doesn't really do a lot to help the situation. If anything, he just digs himself in deeper, ensuring their happiness at his expense.

4. Quinn - UnREAL

Quinn unreal
On top of the fact she's just a manipulative bitch, Quinn has the added pressure to do both her own work at Chet's, for which he only treats her like a doormat, even stealing and selling her ideas as his. She gets her strength by treating others similarly, which ain't good.

5. Andre - Empire

Andre empire
Is there anything more miserable than having no talent in a talented family? Even though he has a way with business and money, it still doesn't match up to the criminal ways his father can get ahead. His good heart will always come up short.

6. Dougal - Outlander

Dougal outlander
Dougal wants what Jamie has, lock, stock and barrel and there's not a single thing he can do to get it. He's not even happy with the bonny time traveler of his own he has (not that she shares like Claire). Since he can't get what he wants, he'll wallow and try to make everyone around him do the same.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 4 Review: Going Once, Going Twice

Losing a home is never easy.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 4, the Gallaghers officially became homeless. It was actually one of the most shocking developments on the show to date and it has me very uncertain about where they will next move to.

Fiona does have access to $100,000 after all, so she could buy them somewhere, but where? Will they remain in the South Side with the rising house costs? I have no idea and need to find out like right away.

It was very nice that Fiona could actually get a mortgage to begin with. She's fought tooth and nail for her family and she's left little time to think about what she could do for herself once the kids fly the nest. Her assistant manager role should push her forward into a career of her choosing in the future.

Every company needs a manager and Fiona has excellent managerial skills. Her relationship with Sean has started to go pear shape, but you have to give it to the guy, he's very honest. It can't have been all that easy to tell Fiona that he killed someone.

It's not like he maliciously set out to kill someone, or anything. It was an accident and he needs to stop letting it eat him up.

Fiona's reaction to his revelation was very natural. Sure, she'd have been wondering if he could kill again, but surely she knows what he's really like. He's the only one who's been there for her over the past two seasons, and he's a catch. He was happy enough to give Fiona some of the money for the down payment.

It's perfectly obvious he has her best interests at heart and that's what makes their relationship all the more joyful to watch play out on screen.

Aside from the drama of the house, Lip's storyline with Helene got super interesting. No one likes to fail, but it's becoming pretty evident that's what Helene is scared of. That whole scene with her hypothesis being verbally tore down showed us at home that she had to compose herself.

It sure looked like she was going to let rip and go crazy at the man, but as much as she want to, she didn't. Her drunken revelation to Lip gave him hope that she could love him, but that was dashed when she told him to forget about it.

People tend to come clean about stuff when their drunk, so hopefully she does mean that and Lip's love life can take a turn for the better, but maybe this is karma coming back to bite him in the ass. Remember Mandy? That chick loved him.

If Mandy miraculously came back, I would totally ship them together. Hopefully they are both endgame.

"Going Once, Going Twice" was the best episode of the season. It had laughs, shocks and death. It appears like the show is making up for the downturn in quality in Shameless Season 5.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Will the Alibi Room be able to regain its customers, or will it remain a social pariah? Will Yanis' death come back to haunt Kev?
  • Svetlana continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. She needs to be promoted to regular!
  • Whenever you think Frank could stoop any lower, he does. Who in their right mind would set their fifteen-year-old daughter up with someone over seventy?
  • Ian's storyline was a snooze for the most part. I never thought I'd see the day when Carl's storyline would be more interesting.
  • Chuckie's return was quite the shock, but he's obviously going to do something to Carl.

The Gallaghers are officially homeless!

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 4, as much as Fiona tried to save the family, it didn't quite pan out, while Kevin's storyline with Yanis took a deadly turn.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman and Paul Dailly are joined by super fan, Amy Perrin. Join them as they discuss the next move for the family, Helen's drunken confession and whether the Alibi Room can regain their lost customers.

Shamless Round Table 660px

React to the Gallaghers losing their home.

Stacy: I was really surprised! I thought for sure they would win, but this family never seems to be able to catch a break. I don't know where they go from here.

Amy: Fiona worked so hard to get the money to buy it at auction, so it was a shock that it went to someone else. I hate the thought of the family splitting up.

Paul: It was such a shock. This development will really change things for them. Will they all be split up, or will Fiona just buy another house?

Can the Alibi Room regain their customers?

Stacy: They will figure something out. Hopefully they can learn from the speakeasy and find a way to draw their customers back in.

Amy: Yes, I am sure Svetlana and Vee will figure something out to attract the customers back there.

Paul: It will take a lot of time, but I’m sure they will find a way. I do think they will start to try get and get Speak Easy some attention in the media to lure their customers back over.

What did you think about Helene's drunken confession to Lip.

Stacy: People tend to tell the truth when they're drunk. She may have taken it back the next morning, but that doesn't mean she didn't mean it when she said it. Lip's not going to be able to just forget it happened either.

Amy: I was very surprised to hear her basically profess her love for him, but she quickly tried to take it back though. I still think Lip can do better than her.

Paul: I genuinely think that this came from the heart and I’m sure that there will be some sort of relationship for them down the line, but that would involve Helene leaving her husband.

Will Kevin be able to cope in the aftermath of what happened to Yanis?

Stacy: He's going to blame himself and feel guilty about this for a long time, but Yanis brought this on himself. While it was Kev's fault he was paralyzed, his death is not on him. I love Kev, so I really hope he can find a way to move on from this.

Amy: Considering how racked with guilt he felt for causing Yanis to be paralyzed, I cannot imagine how tortured he will be knowing that Yanis is now dead. Poor Kevin, and poor Yanis.

Paul: No. He struggles to keep things to himself and that’s a testament to the stand up guy he is.

Is Sean the right guy for Fiona?

Stacy: I think so. He's a really good guy, the best one Fiona's ever been with. So he accidentally killed a guy. For this family, that's child's play.

Amy: I really loved Steve/Jimmy, but Sean seems much more grounded, and the better choice for Fiona in regards to a long-lasting relationship.

Paul: I think so. Steve/Jimmy or whatever his name is, consistently lied to her. Sean seems like he knows what he wants and he isn’t constantly in trouble.

How does the song go? You must remember this, a kiss is just a kiss?

Well, sometimes a kiss is WAY more than just a kiss.

When the couple we root for lock lips, a part of our hearts swells up 10 times and we feel the heat.

You may even replay those kisses over and over again on our DVR's computers, and cell phones. (Don't pretend you haven't saved a few of these GIF's in your gallery!)

While the shows and circumstances are all quite different for each of these, but one thing can be said for every kiss on this list: every one was damn satisfying.

There are hundred of incredible kisses in the history of television, so narrowing down this list wasn't easy. If your favorite kiss isn't listed here, don't dismay! Please share it with us in the comments! We love hearing from you!

1. Clarke and Lexa, The 100

Clarke and lexa the 100
Listen, we can argue over Clarke's love life for hours upon hours after watching The 100, but let's just all agree that Clarke and Lexa's first kiss is pretty fantastic. Clarke may not have been ready to move on just yet, but it was pretty clear that she was really into Lexa.

2. Oliver and Felicity, Arrow

Happy girl arrow season 4 episode 13
I don't feel like I should need to expand upon this GIF, I mean, LOOK at it. But Oliver and Felicity's first kiss included not just an incredible smooch, but also the reveal of Oliver admitting what fans already knew; he was totally in love with Ms. Smoak.

3. Alicia and Will, The Good Wife

Alicia and will the good wife
No elevator ride will ever be this sexy, I guarantee it. Will and Alicia's sexual tension was off the charts. And then this moment, one that was written perfectly, executed perfectly...the perfect kiss. Let's not think about how this story ends, because it really hurts too much. Let's just stare at this GIF over and over and over...

4. Rory and Jess, Gilmore Girls

Rory and jess gilmore girls
After nearly an entire season of flirting, adorable teenage glances, and driving each other crazy in the best way, Rory finally admitted to her feelings for Jess and planted one on him at Sookie and Jackson's wedding. It was everything that a satisfying teenage kiss should be: fast, sudden, and butterfly-inducing.

5. Jim and Pam, The Office

Jim and pam the office
Casino Night was really emotional for Pam and Jim. She bested him at poker, took all his money, and then was blind-sighted by his admission of love to her. Things got even more emotional when Jim, in a suicide mission to win Pam's affection, kissed her in the dark Dunder Mifflin office. And The Office would never, ever be the same again.

6. Josh and Donna, The West Wing

Josh and donna the west wing
Who knew that an election could elicit such sexual energy? After nearly seven years of pining for one another, and seven years of waiting and buildup for fans at home, Josh celebrated the news that his candidate, Santos, was ahead in the polls in California by kissing Donna. It gave new meaning to the sentiment, “I'm so happy I could kiss you.” And what a kiss it was...

Shameless Season 6 Episode 5 Review: Refugees

Will Lip be able to win back Helene?

That's one of the more pressing questions after watching Shameless Season 6 Episode 5. There's no denying that this was all going to end in tears, but I didn't think it would go down like that!

Amanda is a conniving bitch, but we can't forget how good she was to him. Maybe she was a little too needy, but she made sure that he had everything he needed. Lip seems to have all these girls fall in love with him, but he always wants what he can't have.

Lip is Upset - Shameless

I wish I could say I'm happy he looks to be away from Helene, but I kind of feel sorry for her. She isn't exactly cheating on her husband. They have some sort of weird deal in place, and he probably has his fair share of women on the side when he's away on business trips, but Helene sees something in Lip.

Remember we got some insight into how she really feels about him on Shameless Season 6 Episode 4? Had that not happened, I wouldn't be feeling as bad for her as I do now. She can kiss that book goodbye and probably her job.

We won't have seen the last of her just yet. Lip is going to share the screen with her once more, but she isn't going to be all that forgiving, and no one would blame her.

She crossed a line when she allowed herself to have that sort of relationship with a student, but they were both consenting adults and it takes two to tango. Lip was stupid to even leave Amanda in the room. The fact that he left his cell phone was stupid, but with her knowledge about the relationship, she would have done something else to make it a hot topic among her peers.

A lesson for lip would be to think about his actions going forward. He seems to push the chicks who really love him away and that's not going to help him settle down and start a family, or even finish college.

Elsewhere, the Gallaghers losing their home could actually be a blessing in disguise. That home was a house of horrors for them that kept them reminiscing about all the things that went wrong there. It's time for Fiona to stop pursuing it and just move on.

She needs to make new memories and that's what will probably ultimately get her to keep her child. It was mature of her to realize that arguing with Sean would not get her anywhere, but Sean was a dick about the whole thing.

It didn't make sense for him to single out Carl for being in juvie. Sean was incarcerated, too. He should have known before getting involved with Fiona that getting involved with a Gallagher means getting involved with the whole clan of them.

It remains to be seen exactly what Fiona will do next, but you should all probably expect the new home to be significantly smaller than her previous one. That's what happens when you have limited funds, but to be fair, she doesn't need all the space she had. Debbie and Lip are both gone, and if Ian takes this whole firefighting thing seriously, then he'll be next to go.

We can't forget about Carl, but he seems like he has it all planned out. His life will consist of fast cars and any girls who will give him the time of day.

"Refugees" was another solid installment of this Showtime drama. Shameless Season 6 has done wonders for the longevity of the show, and it's clear that there are plenty more stories to tell before this one shows any signs of age.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Did anyone else see that Tony twist coming? Maybe he'll actually get a storyline this time round.
  • Is anyone else shipping Ian and his new man already? He seems like a nice enough guy, but what happened to him waiting for Mickey? I guess that's out the window.
  • Veronica's rant at Carl about the way he's acting was hilarious.
  • Svetlana bringing Fiona down a few pegs was needed.
  • The refugee kids look like they're going to cause a whole host of trouble in the neighborhood.
  • Debbie's storyline isn't all that interesting, but it was a good twist to have the wife hop into bed with her.
  • Did everyone seriously forget about Chuckie? That kid can't catch a break.

Shameless Round Table: Is Gallovich No More?

Ian's moving on!

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 5, the Gallagher family were forced out of their home for good.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman and Paul Dailly are joined by super fan, Amy Perrin. Join them as they discuss Debbie's new love interest, Helene & Lip being exposed and Ian's new man.

Shamless Round Table 660px

React to the Gallaghers being forced out of their home.

Stacy: That was tough to watch, especially after the new owners gave them more time. Though, I did wonder if they were hinting that they could have another shot at the house. They said the bank owns it until it passes inspection. If I were them, I would have done something to ensure it didn't before vacating. It was also really funny they completely forgot about Chucky.

Amy: I thought that should have been given more time to get their stuff together, and make other living arrangements. It was funny seeing Frank taking out things like the toilet. It is going to be weird not having them in that house anymore.

Paul: They shouldn't have been thrown out like that. You'd think the bank would have understood the situation they were in and gave them a little more time.

Did you see the twist that Erica would be the one who wants Debbie coming?

Stacy: I hadn't really thought about it before it happened, but it didn't surprise me. Debbie is a pregnant teenager in need of a job, why would Erica assume anything more was going on? She's sick and probably loves having the extra help. Plus she trusts her husband.

Amy: Yes, that was a shock, and I wonder what Debbie will do about it in the next episode. We all know that Frank will tell her to go for it with Erica.

Paul: That was the biggest shock of the hour and it was hilarious. Didn't see that one coming!

How did you feel about the way Helene and Lip's affair was exposed?

Stacy: That was awful and just made me angry. Lip is too smart to have left his ex alone in there with a phone that she knew the password to, but it was also just a horrible thing for her to do. I hope the karma comes back and bites her for it.

Amy: I feel bad for Helene, but then again if one is going to play with fire then there is a great chance of being burned. As soon as I saw Amanda I figured that she was going to do something to cause trouble. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Paul: It wasn't nice at all. Sure, it was going to come out eventually, but I didn't expect it to go down quite like that!

Is there any hope for Mickey and Ian now that Ian has moved on?

Stacy: There's always hope if Mickey gets out of prison at some point, but it is good for Ian to meet new people. I really like the firefighter he's into and want to see where it goes.

Amy: I miss Mickey, and hate that he is incarcerated, so I hope that they will reunite sooner rather than later. Although, it's unrealistic to think that Ian is going to be celibate for 8 years, so of course he needs to move on for now.

Paul: I think that ship has sailed and it will only return if Mickey shows back up.

Was Sean right to refuse to let Carl stay over?

Stacy: Absolutely. It's his house and he has a right to feel safe in it, especially with his son there. I wouldn't want Carl in my house either.

Amy: I agree with Stacy. It's Sean's house, and he has the right to choose who can and cannot stay there, especially with his young son being there. I definitely wouldn't want Carl staying with me.

Paul: Sorry, but I have to disagree. Sean has been incarcerated and Carl has been in juvie, so I don't see where his arguments hold validity. He's happy enough to stay under Fiona's roof, but when Fiona asks a favor of him, he attaches strings.
