Shameless Season 6 Episode 6 Review: NSFW

The Galaghers have a home!

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 6, Fiona realized the hard way that Gus won't do anything for her.

No one can blame him. She treated him like an idiot and it's only natural that he would be very reluctant to help her in any way. At the same time though, he shouldn't have let his frustration with her affect her family because the only way she was getting the house back was if he divorced her.

It's easy enough to throw all the blame Fiona's way, but he was quick enough to marry her when he should have actually gotten to know her beforehand. Nothing good was ever going to come from this relationship. They really are both to blame.

Fiona was very reckless at one point, but she knows the mistakes she has made and that's why she tried to make it up to Gus. She's not a bad person by any means, but she's a little flawed. It just sucks for her that when she really needed Gus, he threw it back in her face.

That said, I'm surprised she didn't snap at him in Patsy's, but I guess that shows us how much she's rehabilitated. If this was her two years ago, she'd have probably went after him with a knife, or sent one of her siblings after him.

Gus doesn't bring much to the show, and he's one of the main reasons Shameless Season 5 was particularly weak.

It's hard to imagine that he's gone for good, so there's probably going to be more of him down the line. I wouldn't be opposed to Sean roughing him up or at the very least warning him away from Fiona.

Even though it seemed like it was impossible, Fiona managed to get the house back. I have mixed feelings about that development. It would have been great to see them move on from the house to a new place. They really could use a fresh start. Most of them deserve it.

As much as Carl probably doesn't, he was the only one who had the means to help them get the house back. He probably wouldn't have been as persistent with Fiona if it wasn't for Nick committing murder.

That came out of nowhere, and it was rather unsettling. It was obvious that something wasn't right with him, but resorting to murdering a kid for having your bike is a bit much.

How did he even know that someone else didn't steal the bike? He put all the blame on the kid, and that's why he's going back inside. Let's face it, he shouldn't have been on the outside to begin with.

He's eighteen and relying on Carl getting him through life. That was never going to work out the way he wanted it. Hopefully it has shown Carl the affect that a life of crime can have on him as a person before it's too late for him, too.

"NSFW" was lacking the spark that the rest of the season has had thus far, and the random murder kind of changed the tone for the worse. Hopefully it's back to business next week because it's not as fun if it's all serious.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Did anyone else laugh out loud when V and Kev used the refugees to help The Alibi Room? They will always find a way to save their own skin.
  • Ian's date with Caleb was really dull, right?! It's obvious the chemistry between these two is when they're being themselves and not trying to force things.
  • Could Debbie be falling for Erica, or is she just using her to keep her wish of having a perfect family?
  • Helene admitting everything was her fault was quite the shock, but will she really not see lip again? That's the million dollar question!

Shameless Picture Preview: The Calm Before The Storm?

They have the house back, but is everything going to run smoothly from now on?

That doesn't appear to be the case on Shameless Season 6 Episode 7

As Fiona tries to adjust to being back in her home, she quickly realizes that Carl is going to keep bringing up the fact that he was the one to come up with the money to save them.

His first course of action is to throw a crazy party and Fiona looks super pissed about it.

She vents to Sean, who offers her a shoulder to lie on. He then makes her a candle lit dinner. It looks very romantic, but will she be able to think of herself for a change?

Veronica and Kevin's lives will be turned upside down when the refugee kids are taken off them. How will they cope without them?

We'll need to tune in for the full episode on Sunday 22 February at 9/8C on Showtime.

Shameless Promo: Will Lip Get Revenge?

Will Lip ever catch a break?

It doesn't look that way on Shameless Season 6 Episode 7, as he finds himself thrown out of college.

It's no doubt all down to Helene, but he doesn't take it lightly and starts throwing things at her window.

Fiona's glee about getting the house back is short lived when Carl throws a party and informs her that the house is his and that he'll do whatever he wants.

Meanwhile, Frank tries to get Glenda to stick around, but she's having none of it.

Will he be able to talk her round?

Then there's the burgeoning relationship of Ian and Caleb.

They go to a wedding together and it looks like things are on the up for them.

Shameless Round Table: The Gallaghers Have A Home!

Is Nick gone for good?

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 6, Nick murdered a kid when he realized he stole his bike.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman and Paul Dailly are joined by super fan, Amy Perrin. Join them as they discuss Debbie's new love interest, Helene & Lip being exposed and Ian's new man.

React to Nick killing the kid.

Stacy: That was surprising, but I never saw Nick making it out in the real world. He just didn't seem like he was ready to adapt and he was just relying on Carl to pull him through. Hopefully it opens up Carl's eyes and he gets his act together. It's not too late for him.

Amy: As soon as Nick left Debbie's party I was sure that he was going to go get his bike back. I was hoping that Carl would get there in time to stop him from doing something stupid, but I never imagined that he would wind up killing that kid. Such a tragedy, and I am very disappointed because I was starting to like his character. I reckon that Nick was just too troubled to survive on the outside.

Paul: That was quite the shock and pretty unsettling. It was a crazy twist, but I don't think we've seen the last of him.

Was Gus right to treat Fiona the way he did?

Stacy: Was he right? No, probably not, but it is hard to blame him. He's still hurt, and rightfully so, but the only way either of them is going to move on is to officially divorce and put this all behind them. Basically, he should have just been the bigger man and signed the papers, even if it was for his own sanity and not as a favor to her.

Amy: I think Gus has every right to be upset with Fiona, but he was too harsh with her. I think he should have said that he would only sign the divorce papers after he got his ring back.

Paul: I'm not so sure. He rushed into things with her, too, so I don't get why he has the right to place all the blame on her.

Are you happy the Gallaghers have their home back?

Stacy: Yes, and I pretty much called that last week! I figured that house was not going to pass inspection and they'd have another shot at it.

Amy: Yes, and no. I am glad that they are mostly all under one roof again, but I also think it would have been good to see them in new environments. Fiona was crazy to get the house back, and now it looks like she will be living with Sean, so that is interesting.

Paul: I don't know. I kind of liked the idea of them starting a fresh somewhere else.

How will Debbie's storyline play out with Erica?

Stacy: I don't know. I don't think Debbie is really into Erica, but she's apparently going to give it a try in order to stay there. I don't see it lasting too long though and she'll eventually work things out with Fiona.

Amy: I am not sure. I agree with Stacy that it seems like Debbie is taking Frank's advice, and doing whatever it takes to keep living with Erica and her family.

Paul: I have no idea. They keep changing things up, which is good.

Do you like the pairing of Ian and Caleb?

Stacy: I really do, they're a cute couple. I like that Caleb is introducing Ian into the world of real dating. It's funny watching him flounder, but at least he's trying. I think they can really work as a couple.

Amy: I really liked Ian with Mickey, but since Mickey is incarcerated I think that Caleb is a good pairing for him. Caleb is really different from Mickey, and I think he is going to have a positive influence on Ian.

Paul: I didn't at first, but I'm really rooting for them now.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Pimp's Paradise

Will the Gallagher home be able to function without Fiona?

That appears to be the case after Shameless Season 6 Episode 7, but it's pretty obvious that as soon as Queenie inevitably moves on, it will all fall apart.

For the most part, Queenie was entertaining. She wasn't nearly as annoying as Sammi. I'll admit that I was very skeptical of her, but she surpassed all of my expectations.

However, there's no way she's staying under that roof with good intentions. Are we supposed to believe that Sammi hasn't told her mother everything that Gallaghers did to her? She's going to use Frank until it comes to the time that she exacts her revenge on the whole family. It's not going to be pretty.

Sammi is in jail for now, but I shudder to imagine what will happen when the two of them are together causing trouble. Sammi was a good character initially, but she quickly became annoying when she was a little too obsessed with Frank.

Back to Fiona. How will she cope with not being the head of the house? It seems like she's moved out for now, but all roads lead back to that crazy house.  It would be nice for her to catch a break for once, but it appears that her family wouldn't mind her absence. That scene near to the end of the episode was a striking one.

She thought Liam was her final go-to person in the house, but he was too busy with Debbie's return and decided to stay the night a way from her. Her reaction was understandable, but maybe it's finally time for her to move on and make a life for herself.

She's spent enough of her time looking after the clan, so she deserves to move on with Sean. I do think she's going to have regrets about having her abortion now. She's spent so much time worrying about the house and working that she hasn't had a chance to think things through.

Elsewhere, we got to meet Caleb's family, and it led to some of the funniest scenes of the season. I didn't like Caleb at first because it meant the end of Ian and Mickey, but he's grown on me considerably.

It's obvious that his father has something against his son being gay, but the rest of the family didn't seem to bat an eye lid. It was hilarious when Ian gave him something to stare at during that big dance routine.

Caleb's a good enough guy and it looks like he'll keep Ian grounded for the foreseeable future. It's good for Ian to move on because Mickey has a long stretch ahead of him and there's a good chance he won't even make it out of prison.

"Pimp's Paradise" was a solid installment that brought all the laughs. The show is taking these characters in an interesting direction and I can't wait to see what's next.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Is anyone getting a little tired of Lip? He seems to go through a lot of women, but they're all wrong for him. It was mature of him to ignore Victoria, but I can't see him resisting for much longer.
  • Carl's story has picked up a lot. It was one of the worst at the start of the season, but now it's one of the best. Did he really feel bad that Nick killed the kid?
  • Wasn't Kev and V's hotel room from the same hotel that she and Fiona worked at on Shameless Season 2?
  • Chuckie continues to be hilarious. I'm surprised he was even allowed in any schools after his spell in juvie.
  • Debbie leading Erica on and ditching her when Frank text her was so funny, but I'm glad she's back home.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 8 Review: Be a Good Boy. Come for Grandma.

When you think things couldn't get worse for the Gallaghers, they do.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 8 Carl tried to get away from his illegal activities and it was quite a shocking turn of events for the character.

He's been on a slippery slope into a life of crime since Shameless Season 4, but it seems he's finally ready to grow up. You can thank Nick for killing the kid for that.

I don't blame Carl, but it's just a shame that it took a brutal murder for it to happen. Now he can focus on being the hilarious character that we know he can be.

As much as he's going to calm down, don't expect his rebellion against Fiona to come to an end any time soon. She's in for a world of sleepless nights before he's out of the woods completely.

There is also a strong possibility that he could be the subject of a brutal revenge plot from the gang. Frank does owe them a left nut, after all. Yes, Frank was as silly as ever, but you'd think that he would have learnt the error of his ways.

He always finds himself in trouble and that's down to his knack for drugs and drink. I'm surprised his body hasn't started rejecting his liver again. I guess the writers got sick of using that plot.

We have got to talk about Queenie, though. That scene with her and lip was fifty shades of uncomfortable, but I'm sure we all saw it coming when she walked over to him with the two beers.

Shameless loves to push the envelope, but that scene threw the envelope to another freaking state. The addition of Queenie has been a welcome one to the show, but any more scenes like that and I don't think I'll be able to watch her in any scenes.

Speaking of Lip, he's going through a tough time, but that's kind of what happens when everyone knows you've been screwing your professor, right?

That sorority house is not a good place for him. He's going to find himself in a world of trouble. Every single one of the women are throwing themselves at him.

Fiona is in a sticky situation with Sean. Will he be able to trust her again? His kid is obviously his first priority, but he needs to cut throwing all the blame Fiona's way.

How was she meant to know that Carl had guns in the house? Sean's stayed in the house some nights with her, so he should know that if she knew, she'd have gotten him to get rid of them.

The only Gallagher who is having no relationship issues, is Ian and his relationship with Caleb is moving along very nicely. At first, I was very apprehensive about Caleb because at some point Mickey will resurface.

Both Ian and Caleb have their own personal battles, but it seems like these two could be helping each other cope and it's nice to see it play out on screen.

"Be a Good Boy. Come for Grandma" was a funny installment, but the relationship drama for some of the characters is beginning to wear a little thin and it would make more sense to write more satisfying arcs for our favorite characters than have them being defined by relationships.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 9 Review: A Yurt of One's Own

Welcome back, Mandy Milkovich.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 9 one of the best characters on TV returned to our screens, and it was well worth the wait.

In what I can only describe as a shocking turn of events, it looks like she's back for a while. I knew the actress was going to be tied up with her starring role on a Hulu drama, so it's great she found the time to return to the role.

When she left in Shameless Season 5, there was a lot of unfinished business with her and Lip, so it would be great for us to get some pay off now that she's back.

At the rate Lip has been going through love interests recently, he must have stopped and thought about when things were easier and the answer is that it's easier with Mandy.

Lip: There's some girls that look like dudes.
Ian: I'll pass.

Mandy doesn't bring drama to his life. She brings unconditional love, and that's part of the reason why she left in the first place. Why should she have waited around for Lip to grow up and realize she was the best one for him?

It's obviously led her down a dark path, but let's hope Lip can pull her back into the light before it's too late for both of them.

Elsewhere, Fiona had her hands full trying to make things right with both Sean and Gus.

It was a shock that Gus just showed up like that, but we knew he'd be back sooner or later. He had a lot of nerve to ask Fiona to do anything for him after the way he treated her when she needed one small thing from him.

Based on the way Sean was acting to her, he almost found himself in the same category as Gus. His frustration about the whole gun thing with his kid is natural, but the way he treated Fiona throughout it all was horrid.

How would you feel if your one constant was treating you like trash? You wouldn't put up with it and that's why Fiona is such a great character. She called BS straight away and forced him to think of a life without her and that's what inevitably made him save the day and make him his fiance.

However, I do think she should have declined his marriage request. Sure, they've been together for a while, but this whole situation has shown he doesn't trust her as much as she thought he did.

Somehow this is all going to end in tears for her and she's going to be back at square one wondering why her relationships never work out.

Carl's storyline got more interesting than ever tonight. At the beginning of the season, he was a horrible character, so the progression for him has been great these last few weeks.

His girlfriend is actually pretty nice, and it's nice that she likes him without money, too. What I don't get is why the gang never returned for him after Frank's botched attempt to steal their drugs.

They went after Frank with guns, so why would they let Carl off for nothing?

"A Yurt of One's Own" was a solid installment of this Showtime drama. Hopefully we get some more natural character progression for these characters as we approach the end of the season.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Svetlana and V as wife and wife is going to make for one hilarious plot. Let's hope they throw a wedding in The Alibi Room.
  • Mandy totally needs to visit Mickey in prison so we get to see him!
  • The whole commune storyline isn't great, but if it gives Debbie something more to do than whine, then I'm all for it!
  • Did anyone else miss Caleb this week?
  • Will Gus somehow still go after Fiona's home?

Shameless Season 6 Episode 10 Review: Paradise Lost

A new Gallagher has entered the fold!

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 10, Debbie finally gave birth to her child, but she managed to escape the commune.

Seriously, though, the whole commune storyline got too crazy even by this show's standards. In what world would a group of women be fighting over Frank Gallagher?

Hell must have frozen over in that commune. I bet some of those women have never seen a dude from outside their group.

As much as I like Queenie, her storyline isn't all that. It's clear she's been put on the show this season to make it crazier than ever. She's infinitely more likeable than her daughter, but I don't know whether she'll get another arc away from the commune.

I do think that there's a reason why the commune were so eager to get Debbie and the baby, but I haven't put my finger on what yet. I don't think these characters are going to disappear just like that, and considering the mess Frank left them with, we'll see them again.

Ian finally took his test, and even though he passed with flying colors, it was clear that something was going to pop up and force him to evaluate everything.

It was very awkward that Caleb was in with him when he was getting his check up with the nurse. It's surprising that Caleb would even want to hear how many partners Ian has had.

I was so sure that Caleb would ditch him when he came clean about everything, but I'm guessing Caleb values his honesty and is willing to overlook his past.

It was a departure for Caleb to talk Ian into lying about his medical past in order to get a job. To date, he's been very by the book, so it was great that he was willing to bend the rules were necessary.

While most of our favorite characters were making life changing decisions, Lip had the week from hell.

We all know just how badly his break-up with Helene affected him, so we knew that after all his reckless decisions, there were going to be consequences.

At this stage, I'm surprised he's still enrolled in college. He brought nothing but trouble to the place since he set foot in it.  He's back at home for now, but will the drama in his life force him to go in search of Mandy?

It did suck to have her return for one episode, so I'm hoping she pops up again before the season is over.

Like I've said before, the key to moving on is dealing with your past  These two have a lot of unfinished business that needs to be resolved before they can move on.

Elsewhere, Fiona was busy making a life for herself and Sean. Who couldn't make a life with Sean after what he did for her on Shameless Season 6 Episode 9

He's a nice enough guy, but I just don't see this relationship standing the test of time. If they make it out of the season an item, I'll be ecstatic.

"Paradise Lost" was another solid episode of this Showtime drama. We're six seasons in, and the show is still managing to throw great storylines our way.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Svetlana and V make a great couple, right? More scenes please!
  • Lip's drunken antics made me laugh out loud. He was obviously the life of the party.
  • Queenie's reaction to the two women fighting over Frank was priceless.
  • Everyone together at the end for Debbie giving birth was great!
  • Fiona's comment about the dude with Back-Ne was hilarious!

Shameless Season 6 Episode 11 Review: Sleep No More

It's time for Frank to go curl under a rock and stay there until the end of his time in this world.

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 11, Frank officially went too far when he put a hit out on the man his daughter loves the most.

It's difficult to explain just how horrible Frank is. There are so many layers to the character, but we'll never get away from the fact that he's only looking out for himself and can't stand the fact that Fiona has someone in her life that loves her.

Sean did nothing wrong. Frank was being the burden to the family and kept getting them in trouble with his horrific actions. It was about time he was put in his place.

I had a strange feeling throughout the hour that something horrible was going to happen.

Now it seems like someone is definitely not making it out of Shameless Season 6 Episode 12 alive. Frank's actions always come back to bite him in the ass and this time will be no different. To Frank, being a father is only a temporary position when the odds are in his favor.

He's done a lot to his family, but the notion that he owned the house made me sick to my stomach. Legally, Fiona owns the house, so she should have known not to trust Frank. She should have cut him loose long ago.

This family isn't going to be able to move on with their lives if Frank keeps popping back in and causing havoc. He has the exact same as Monica, and it would be better if he ran off with her and gave his family some peace and quiet.

Debbie's going through something that she isn't going to be able to handle on her own. She's a new mom, and the signs are pointing to her having some form of depression. It would be great if she sought help, but that's not Debbie Gallagher.

It Debbie her up that her family didn't support her decisions about Frannie, so she has it in her mind that they won't help her again.

It's a natural thought process. If she's become accustomed to them being negative about everything, why would she think they'd just change their stance all of a sudden? As much as Fiona did not agree with her decisions, there's no way she'd fully cut off her sister.

Fiona just wanted Debs to have a chance to have a life before having children. That's something Fiona never got the chance to do, and we've witnessed her reckless stages because of it. Debbie has all the traits of a great parent, but she needs to finish school to give her kid the best possible start in life.

Debbie just needs to find that balance that will allow her to go about her life and raise her son without worrying what others think about her parenting skills. She made the decision to keep the child and she can do good by it.

It wouldn't be all that surprising if Debbie got a job and flew the nest. She may even find a man that loves her for her and nothing else. Either way, it's time for her to grow up and be the mother she knows she can be to Frannie.

"Sleep No More" was a solid episode that at times felt like the calm before the storm. There are a lot of things up in the air as we approach the finale.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • I'm unsure how to feel about the whole thing with Veronica and Svetlana. I don't think I could deal with the show if Kev and V were pulled apart again. They're a great couple, but Svetlana could be the one that ultimately leads them apart.
  • Ian's past coming back to haunt him was a given. I'm surprised Caleb was silly enough to think that he would get away with it. It's almost like he set him up to fail.
  • Lip's in a really dark place and needs help before it's too late.

Shameless Season 6 Episode 12 Review: Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia!

Well, that was an unpredictable ending!

On Shameless Season 6 Episode 12, Frank fought tooth and nail to try and get rid of Sean. In a very surprising turn of events, he actually succeeded.

It's not very often that Frank Gallagher can say he's had something that he's been with from start to finish. He's one of the people that find it very easy to just give up and move on, but not this time. He's now proven that he will go to any lengths to screw his family over.

The revelation that Sean was using was quite the shock, but looking back on the last few episodes of Shameless Season 6, we should have seen it coming. He had regular mood swings and changes in his personality that I had questioned a lot over the course of the season.

He's now made it crystal clear that his son will always be number one in his life and you can't really blame him. Why shouldn't he be? Would Fiona ever let a guy come between her and the kids? Don't think so.

In that moment outside the church, it seemed like there was a chance for Fiona to be swayed into staying with Sean, but it seems that he's had enough enough of the Gallaghers. It would have probably been a better turn of events for everyone if Sean was shot. Not fatally, but I am glad that Fiona at least knew what she was letting herself in for.

Don't expect Sean to be around when the show returns next year. Fiona probably won't be with anyone for quite some time and you can't blame her. She's tried so hard at having relationships, but they just never seem to pan out the way they should.

All of the stuff with Ian was very intriguing. He questioned whether to return to his former life, but upon hearing the sirens from the ambulance, he knew that he'd be constantly looking over his shoulder and fearing the worst was about to happen. If he didn't show back up at his former work, he wouldn't be having the opportunity to work as an EMT. It shows that if you never give up at something, you may just be rewarded.

Ian's character has developed a lot this season. Out of the gate, he had to adapt to a life without the man of his dreams, while still trying to keep himself on the right path in life. It sucks that Mickey is no longer part of the equation, but would Ian be where he is now if he was still pining after Mickey? I don't think so.

Based on what I've read online, it seems like Mickey could be making a return trip at some point next year, but will it be as pointless as Mandy's one? Hopefully not. I don't understand the urgency to bring her back and have her disappear into the ether again.

Is anyone else happy that Debbie finally seems to be on the road to getting back in good graces with her family? She didn't want to admit that she needed help and that's really all she needed to do. It helped her to let Lip know that he needs to get help quickly and to be honest, she's the last one I would have pegged to be telling someone that they need help.

We were left with quite the cliffhanger for Lip. We have no idea whether he went into that treatment facility, or not. The professor may have been a horrible person at first, but it seems that he does genuinely care for Lip.

"Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia" was a low key finale. There were a lot of personal achievements for the characters, but at times it felt a little disjointed and could have moved along at a brisker pace. It did set the wheels in motion for what is sure to be a very different show when it returns.

Other tidbits from the episode:

  • Can Frank just stay at the bottom of the lake forever? All he ever brings to his family is drama.
  • That opening scene with Svetlana, Kevin and Veronica was hilarious. They're making this whole three-way relationship work and they couldn't be more happier.
  • How long will it take for Carl to sway his girlfriend's dad?

What did you think of the finale? What's Fiona's next move? Will Ian be able to keep his job? Hit the comments below!

17 Controversial Character Exits That Left Us Asking WHY?!?

TV is a big revolving door of characters coming and going.

If we watch a show for any length of time, we expect a fitting conclusion for a character.

What we don't expect is for the character to leave in a way that's so far out of character, that you still hold a grudge about it years later.

Not all of these characters left the show in a coffin. Some of them left their show and took what was left of the show with them.

We've compiled a gallery of 17 of the most controversial exits for you below!

1. Abbie - Sleepy Hollow

Image may be NSFW.

Abbie sleepy hollow
This one pretty much came out of nowhere. Abbie was brutally killed off in the first half of the third season, but she came back. Then the season finale rolled around and she was gone for good with the actress departing the show. It was anti-climactic primarily because she was killed off earlier in the season.

2. Laurel - Arrow

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
Laurel arrow
Laurel was taken very recently and it was the most horrible thing to watch. The character had been sidelined all season, so it was obvious the writers couldn't think of anything for her to do, so they killed her off in order to kick start the pace of the show. Instead, all they've done is piss off fans worldwide and catered to the minority that ships Olicity.

3. Stephen - Scandal

Image may be NSFW.

Stephen scandal
Remember when Henry Ian Cusick ditched Scandal after the freshman run with terrible resolution? Yeah, we're still not over this one. It would be great if he somehow returned, but that's unlikely considering he's over on The CW's The 100.

4. Rebekah - The Originals

Image may be NSFW.

Rebekah the originals
Rebekah keeps popping back up sporadically, but it's only a fan service. The last time she appeared she was staked and put away to keep her safe, but it's kind of annoying knowing that if she comes back, she'll only be around for an episode or two. It's time to wrap her storyline up for good unless she comes back permanently.

5. Lexa - The 100

Lexa the 100
This one was outrageous. She was such a badass character and all the writers could come up with was that she was killed by a stray bullet. That's not how to say goodbye to one of the best characters in your show!

6. Ethan - 90210

How do you revamp a show that's lacking? Cut one of the best characters! Yeah, that was a very odd decision by the powers that be in favor of trying to make us love Liam. Plot twist: It didn't work.

Shameless, The Affair and Masters of Sex Get Fall Premieres

If you've been waiting for news of Masters of Sex, your wait is over!

The drama is normally paired with Ray Donovan for a summer run, but the new series Roadies has taken its spot this year.

The fourth season of Masters of Sex, starring Michael Sheen and Lizzie Caplan as pioneering sex researchers William Masters and Virginia Johnson, will now premiere on Sunday, September 11 at 10 p.m.

Masters of Sex Season 4 will take viewers into the swinging 70s (although it begins in 1968, go figure).

The characters will have new partners personally, sexually and professionally.

That of course begs the question of whether they'll be juggling three, two, one or even more partners than that at any given time!

I guess that's where the double entendre of the title, Masters of Sex, comes into play, right?

The Gallagher clan will be back with Shameless Season 6 on October 2 at 9 p.m.

The series still stars Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy, so if you were hoping the Gallagher clan found a way to completely sever the ties with dear old dad after his shenanigans on the Shameless Season 5 finale, you're out of luck.

As if anyone would want Frank to go missing permanently.

He's the kind of guy that makes us look on ever so fondly at our own lives!

Finally, The Affair will be back, but you're going to be waiting a while.

The Affair Season 3 returns on Sunday, November 20 at 10 p.m.

The series follows a man and woman, both married, who have an affair and what happens as a result of the affair to them and their respective spouses.

If you recall, The Affair Season 2 answered some of the biggest questions that had been lurking since the premiere. And of course, it was shocking and totally unexpected.

If you're wondering what all the fuss is about because you don't have Showtime, wonder no more!

If you have Amazon Prime, you can get a free week of Showtime and watch all of the series above. Why wait? Do it now!!

17 Characters Who Should Put A Sock In It

There are some characters on TV that talk way too much.

They can be the nicest of people, but they just can't stop talking.

They take talking to a whole new level and it leaves us wishing they would put a sock in it.

We've compiled a list of 17 characters that really need to do just that.

1. Frank - Shameless

Image may be NSFW.

Frank shameless
There are times when Frank speaks the truth, but most of the time he has his mouth open, he's trying to find a way to screw his family over for his gain. He's not the best of people. That's for sure. Remember that time he talked too much and it resulted in Liam being held prisoner?

2. Chet - UnREAL

Image may be NSFW.

Chet unreal
There was a time when Chet was a great character on UnREAL, but he's just faded into mediocrity. He pops up here and there to lay down the facts about why Everlasting is his show, but what he doesn't seem to realize is that he didn't make the show.

3. Daenerys - Game of Thrones

Image may be NSFW.

Daenerys game of thrones
She may be the mother of dragons, but don't all of her big speeches seem to ramble on with little action? It took her six seasons to decide to go to Westeros. There's no denying that she's a signature character, but she just talks too damn much.

4. Jack - Suits

Image may be NSFW.

This dude is nothing more than an opportunist. His most recent plan to try and serve Jessica was hilarious. Maybe if he didn't move where the power was at every turn, I'd have been able to feel at least a little sorry for him. Hopefully we don't see him again.

5. Noah - Scream

Am I the only one that thinks Noah could be the killer on Scream? He won't shut up about horror movies and having put up with it for almost two seasons, I'm done. His podcast was a great concept, but it just seems like an easy way for him to point the finger at everyone apart from him.

6. Negan - The Walking Dead

Negan is one scary dude, but did anyone else want him to shut up and let us know who he was killing? That whole speech he made was creepy and calculated. I sure hope it was a one off.
